CARDtober Challenge 7 Die Cut and Colored Cardstock

I'm not sure I fully understood the challenge, but the sample used a rectangle "cabinet" die cut with different colors of plain card stock in some of the various rectangle openings. Years ago it would have been referred to as color blocking, but apparently that type of card is now called Mondrian.

I don't have anything like that, but the challenge did not seem to be for a Mondrian card, so I used a die and colored card stock to create a design reminiscent of stained glass. I'm happy with the results. I don't think I would have thought to use the die in this way if it hadn't been for the challenge.
