Sympathy Card

A dear friend died recently.  Below is the card that I made for his widow, an even dearer friend. Today, a neighbor died, so I will be making another like this.  Both families receiving this card are people of faith, and so am I, so this card reflects that. It is a slight adaptation of a different card that I posted relatively recently, but I love the bird cage and the lilacs.

The stamps and die that I used are from the Heartfelt Creations Lush Lilacs collection. The embossing folder I used for the background (which doesn't show as well) is from Sizzix. The bird cage die cut was cut from a metallic black card stock.
