CARDtober #14 Textured Spray & Layered Die-cuts

For this challenge, we were supposed to use a shimmer texture spray and/or layered die cuts. I don't own any textured spray, and I am on a spending freeze since my son said that I couldn't go for a month without buying any craft supplies. I told him I would go at least till Dec. 1st.

I made a huge mess and had a lot of frustration trying to mimic the look of textured spray, but failed to get anything I liked or that looked similar.

I ended up going for the layered die-cuts with some Wink of Stella on the "Hello" die-cuts, as well as on the print and cut (from Silhouette Design Store). Unfortunately, the shimmer doesn't show in the photo, even when scanned.
