Last Tuesday's "Tuesday Tami" for Queen and Company had Ginger Williams substituting with a "Share and Tell" regarding the soon to be released summer kit to go with their Special Delivery kit. Many of the items are summer themed, so the challenge that Ginger gave is to make a summer card.
We used to go to the beach at the Outer Banks, and we would go crab "hunting" at night, when the sand colored crabs would come out. We called them "ghost crabs" because they looked like little crab ghosts scuttling across the sand. They seemed almost transparent. We would gather them into a bucket, see how many we could catch, and then let them all go before leaving the beach. I wanted to make a crab shaker that looked like the ghost crabs.
I filled the Queen and Co. crab shaker with sand from Mudd Puddles. I also used the curved border die from Queen and Company to create the sandy floor of the ocean. I used the Mudd Puddles sand over glue that was spread over the card stock.
The bling is from a sequins tin that I found at Tuesday Morning. I'm not sure what you call them. They are kind of like rounded, smooth gemstones, except they are (of course) plastic or acrylic. They changed color based on the background, but they were actually kind of a pale sea blue.
