This was a design that I found in the Silhouette Design Store recently. It was a nice addition to my Valentine's Day decor:

Valentine Card
This is a Valentine card that I made for a friend who lost her husband 5 months ago. It was her first Valentine's Day as a widow.
The stamps I used, including for making the 3D rose, along with most of the dies, were by Heartfelt Creations. The flourish below the bird cage was cut with a Spellbinders die. The small heart at the top was from a Silhouette Design Store heart tag cutting file. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder on the red card stock. I used the Heartfelt Creations flower shaping mold to shape the petals of the flower.

Card from Scraps
I tend to save my paper scraps from page layouts, because they are useful for card making. When I had the card making activity recently, I made up several mini kits for cards using some of those scraps. This was a card that I made from scraps, along with a phrase from a stamp set I bought long ago but had never used:
Yes, it's simple. Hand made cards don't have to be elaborate, especially if it's a card for a guy.
